Henkel’s Somat Paper Doy contains more than 95% fibers which allows recycling in the paper waste stream in Germany and beyond. This pioneering approach demonstrates Henkel’s dedication towards its packaging sustainability targets by 2025, which includes that 100% of Henkel’s packaging will be ‘designed for recycling’ or ‘reuse’! Somat Gold is piloting a paper-based stand-up pouch in Germany. The pouch is made from >95% fiber resources. This FSC-certified material can be recycled in the paper waste stream, confirmed by our partner Cyclos-HTP. The new paper-based stand-up pouch also helps to significantly reduce the main environmental impact.
