CT scanner

Siemens Healthcare GmbH

The design of the SOMATOM X.cite CT scanner focuses on patient well-being. The applied layering concept structures the system to make it appear light and approachable, and separates the technology from human touch points. To refine its personal character, well-proportioned dynamic and precise details are smoothly integrated and responding with calm overall look and feel. With up to four tablets, which can be magnetically placed on both sides of the gantry, the system enables the technologist to maximize the time tableside. In combination with the 3D camera patient positioning, this has a game-changing effect on the workflow and how patients perceive care.
