Cantilever chair

Tubular steel is ideal for the ‘cantilever’ leg, but inappropriate for the seat. We identified a plastic that creates an intelligent, elegant skeletal frame that simply plugs onto the leg and minimizes the amount of each material used. The top frame is a sophisticated ergonomically tuned platform that modulates with the user. The flexing backrest produces a dynamic relationship with the seat to maximise comfort. A translucent seat pan can be upholstered. Plastic parts are offered in various colours. The push fit frame reduces parts, assembly time and shipping volume, so the already minimal structure responds to environmental concerns.
