The photo series visualizes the contents of the Social Report of the Canton of Solothurn. The report, published every seven years, is a study of serious social issues of urgent concern such as family and age structure as well as aspects of addiction and crime. The pictures were reduced to shades of white in order to focus on the essential. The images show everyday situations and allow the observer insights into private spaces. The white silhouettes, which appear as key actors in the photo series, represent individual residents of the canton.
