Gravestone

The gravestone "Sphaera Mobilis" enables contact with the deceased in a particular manner. The removable grave-sphere allows the visitor to be permanently in touch with the dead and thereby creates a strong mental and physical closeness. The spherical design of "Sphaera Mobilis" invites the user to touch and carry the gravestone, thus creating contact to the product, and symbolically to the dead. The open design of the grave boundary incites an inviting effect on the visitor. The creative reuptake of the cross in the boundary and the same color choice lead to a homogeneous overall appearance of the product. All elements of the product are made of white Corian.
