The 2024 Hsinchu City Glass Art Festival, themed “Splendid and Exquisite Like Crystal,” exemplifies this fusion of tradition and innovation. As Taiwan’s most prestigious glass art festival, the main exhibition took place at Wind Live House and the Glass Museum of Hsinchu City, featuring artists from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China, Denmark, Italy, Hong Kong, and the United States. Works were organized into six thematic areas—Void, Entity, Addition, Subtraction, Fluidity, and Diversity—while the spatial design, inspired by the flowing nature of glass, encouraged dialogue between pieces.
