With their Strong Families report, published in December 2005, the Commission on Families and Demographic Change brought into being by the Robert Bosch Foundation under the leadership of Professor Kurt Biedenkopf has produced a document which has earned widespread praise from politicians, the media and society at large and which includes a wealth of suggestions for action. One of the goals of the Robert Bosch Foundation is to help re-establish trust in, and esteem for, children and families in a Germany where children are becoming ever less common.
