Since the arrival of smart devices, many music-related products have been offered as apps that have come to replace the devices themselves. As designers of audio products and musical instruments, we know that physical interactions create the experiential values of joy, beauty, discovery, and confidence, and believe there is a latent demand for interactions that glass displays cannot offer. We created four concept models with real-world representations of functions that suffer in the transition to a GUI, and examined the possibilities inherent in the functional beauty that offers experiential values as well as the convenience that IT brings.
