Stroke It Fluffy

Drawing tool for visual impaired children

People often assume that blind children have little interest in or talent for creating images. However, blind children rely on their imaginations and sense of touch and enjoy tracing distinctive shapes on paper. This pen uses a nutrient solution to create lines that turn to fluffy moss after a few days. The child can then touch and feel the texture, line, shape of their creation. It turns drawing into a more intriguing activity and lets blind children enjoy both the process and outcome of creating art.
