Sumauma - giving a voice to the Amazon Rainforest

Brand Design

Sumaúma is a digital ambiental journalism platform from the Amazon rainforest. Facing the climatic emergency, the journal amplifies the voices of those who fight for nature, presenting itself as an alternative to traditional journalism. Its presence is bold and proud, not afraid to feature amazonic colors and indigenous patterns, carrying with them the promise of a better future. Sumaúma is a living being: it doesn’t exist as a single version, but rather as various shapes and colors, expressing the diversity of the forests and their people. The expansion of a letter opens a window through which new stories are told, both of grief and hope.
