Sunk

a small home

SUNK is a small home. Maybe the smallest home of The Netherlands which is built within the rules of the Dutch building permit. The SUNK is intended for single-person households. That is no longer a niche in the housing market. The book about the competition 'Small Living Small Homes' reports that more than a third of Dutch households live alone and that this share is growing. SUNK is unique in its smallness, durability, the way in which indoor and outdoor space merge and can be serially and quickly built. It’s an affordable solution for the ever-growing group of single-person households.
