Super Hi-Vision is a revolutionary plastic ophthalmic lens` coating. Hoya could achieve to optimise these refinement steps which have the decisive influence on the quality of lens coating: hard coating, anti-reflective coating and water- repellent material. Especially the adhesion and scratch resistance of the hard coating could be improved. The anti-reflective sequence is a completely new compound of different materials. Because of this, Super Hi-Vision can offer a three times higher scratch resistance. The water-repellent coating has a higher durability too and is absolutely smooth. Super Hi-Vision makes ophthalmic lenses clearly more resistant against scratches than before. Dirt, grease and oil can stick hardly on Super Hi-Vision - they can be removed quickly and easily.
