The Surgical Futures XLab seeks to improve patient outcomes by serving as a proving ground for the development of next-generation medical technology. The lab is a catalyst, bringing together stakeholders from across Philips and the healthcare industry to advance technological innovations in image guided therapy, procedural assistance robotics, hands-free augmented reality and artificial intelligence automation. The adaptive lab environment is designed to support a myriad of activities, including in-situ technology development, key opinion leader summits, simulated procedures, motion-time research studies and user group concept testing.
