Forty-five farmers commit suicide every day in India, most of them by poisoning, yet there is no immediate treatment available in Indian villages. SURVIVE is the first device of its kind to completely automate the gastric irrigation process, helping to save precious time and save the patient's life. This device can be used in ambulances, hospitals, and especially in scenarios where no emergency medical personnel are at hand. SURVIVE can carry out gastric irrigation in just 2–5 minutes whereas a conventional gastric irrigation process takes up to 45 mins.
This streamlined design has an immense social impact.

Winning the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD for SURVIVE is a really huge validation of the impact of product design and technological innovation. I hope that the award can help to kick-start my design career. This also means a lot to me personally as a reward for the efforts that have gone into making SURVIVE a reality.
