The Blauer Bock – an old, unused prefab block – left its mark on central Magdeburg for many years. Having bought and demolished it, SWM, the main energy utility in the German region of Saxony-Anhalt, wasted no time and is now erecting its new administrative building on the site. The annual report addresses the demolition theme and the dawn of a new age.
