Aimed at young target groups, the fee checker is intended to communicate basic information on TV and radio license fees. The challenge was to “package” the topic in a manner suited to the target group and to approach it playfully. We made a conscious decision to avoid clear menu navigation and use the living room as a play space. The fee calculator is activated and deactivated by clicking. By making selections in the fee calculator, the user is able to determine the monthly cost of TV and radio license fees under consideration of the respective equipment.
