Symbia™ is the first medical imager to merge diagnostic CT and SPECT imaging. It generates a three-dimensional color-coded image of both the anatomy and the functional activity of any given organ. This image or animated sequence allows physicians to pinpoint the exact location, size, nature and extent of the disease, anywhere in the body. Symbia™ facilitates faster and better diagnosis, simplifies the workflow for the user and increases patient comfort. Ergonomic patient positioning accessories and an integrated DVD-system raise the patient comfort to a new level. Patients can view information about the procedure they are undergoing, listen to music or watch a short movie. This makes patients more comfortable and improves diagnostic image quality, because it is easier for patients to hold still during the image acquisition.
