Architecture

C.H.I.Design Studio

"One step, one footprint" is an old saying of Taiwanese farmers. It relates to farming, and means that you reap what you sow. The project is located among many farms. The architects wanted to make a clear connection between the building and its surroundings, while also drawing inspiration from the old proverb. This meant, in practice, using traditional construction methods but with new design, using local materials, and reduce the materials' ecological footprint.
