Image processing and reading application for medical imaging

syngo.via is an image processing and reading application for multiple medical imaging modalities such as e.g. MRT, CAT or Ultrasound. The system comprises a client-server architecture that is integrated into the hospital IT environment. The application receives the patient procedure data from the hospital information system, automatically assigns relevant image manipulation tools according to the medical request and defines workflow steps that guide the user through the image reading process. Within the workflow steps, relevant pathologies are automatically collected and the interpretation of the results is graphically assisted.
