Tactile cognitive building blocks

Educational toy

This is a tactile building block specially designed for visually impaired children. Different series of modules address different learning topics. Modules such as words and numbers can be placed on the right, connected to the processor at the bottom, while the module unit board and speakers on the left produce real-time shapes and sound effects. Visually impaired children obtain information through the different textures of the module. Others can also guide learning. It is interactive, entertaining and educational, helping to break down the barriers between visually impaired children and toys.

JURY STATEMENT

Rarely does one find a toy that is also a thoughtful learning tool for visually impaired children. This is well balanced solution that mindfully engages these special needs kids through sounds and touch they can understand.

WINNER STATEMENT

I would like to thank the iF jury for its recognition of our team. In the future, we will continue to focus on learning in the field of design and develop more designs for vulnerable groups.
