Taiwan Public Pictogram System (TPPS)

Public pictograms

In Taiwan, various agencies issue pictograms, causing inconsistencies, poor legibility, usability challenges, and facing emerging needs by trends. For the first time, TDRI has initiated and unified the needs of 4 agencies (transportation, healthcare, construction, and environment) to co-create a system that adopts a human-centered approach. The system complies with regulations and international standards, serving as a reference throughout Taiwan.
