Transformable Chopping Board
The quality of chopped, ready-to-eat fruit offered on markets in plastic containers can be questionable, which is why we might prefer to buy fresh fruit and prepare it ourselves. To do so, we would need many tools, which is troublesome. Therefore, we have designed this transformable chopping board that, when unfolded, can be used as an ordinary chopping board to cut fruit. After cutting the fruit, the board can be folded to become a fruit bowl. In addition, if you want to take the fruit out, you can close the lid and the embedded magnets will keep the bowl closed: the transformable chopping board is thus turned into a storage container.
The smart transformation of a 2D chopping board into a 3D packaging or bowl shows the innovative thinking of this project. The consequent use of materials is in the core of this idea. Easy to clean and storage.
