The “Tactics of the Ego” catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name in the Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg. Under this title, seventeen contemporary artists had been asked to reveal the psychologically, socially, or emotionally motivated transformations of their “ego”. From the cover to the last page, the winding orientations of the “ego” run throughout the whole catalogue in changing layout transformations.
