Washbasin and wastepaper basket

In the bathroom, the washbasin and the wastepaper basket are two typologies which always meet. The wastepaper basket is often placed into the space which remains empty under the washbasin. Project Tandem is based on this synergistic relationship which is sometimes established between objects. In this project, the washbasin includes a removable wastepaper basket which, thanks to its generous size, can also be used as a laundry basket with two handles.
