Tangle Stand
IV Stand for Children
Tangle stand is a customizable IV stand designed for children. Existing IV stands are stressful for children. Tangle stand is inspired by a book called 'The Giving Tree' and is divided into three parts: the base, stem, and branch. Children customize their own stands through a playful process of inserting and removing various components. This process and the curved and colorful design of Tangle stand improve children's experience of medical treatment. Also, when not in use, the units can easily be stored, which is advantageous for space utilization in crowded hospitals.
