Museum für Gegenwartskunst
The "Tanzen, Sehen." (Dance, See.) exhibition examines dance since the 60s from an artistic point of view. The aim of the design is to capture ephemeral, performance and conceptual art in a "book" format. Enlarged punctuation marks help convey the subject of choreography in the design, and different font sizes inject rhythm and movement into the progression of the catalog. The illustrations float on the pages, 2d surfaces become 3d spaces and stages. Materials and processing methods have been selected to prevent the catalog from turning into a static book, keeping it flexible. Published in German and Spanish.
