Pro-Express is Tefal’s top end steam generator linen care product. It’s designed to cut ironing time with a high steam output, optimized glide ability and easy operation. It is a lightweight ergonomic iron, which locks into the steam generator for easy carrying and storage. The clean and friendly form belies its technical complexity and capability. Tefal needed to modernise their top-end generators to counter the threat of rival ‘faux-steam generators’ and to emphasise the internal high-pressure boiler at the heart of the product. The designers had to work hard to reduce unit cost while ensuring high quality.
