Temples are where earthly and heavenly realms intersect. Shared religious convictions create community and promote social cohesion. Centuries of development have culminated in the present-day perfection and grandeur expressed in the design and layout of Taiwan’s temples. Under the theme "Temple of Cultural Heritage", this exhibition curates the truly unique design statement embodied in the richness of Taiwanese temple architecture, spotlighting precious artifacts, including commemorative plaques presented by multiple Qing emperors, from 11 temple collections that attest to our proud and memory-filled, shared history.
