Office

This was a renovation project for the 45 year old building of a historical Japanese newspaper company over a 4 year period. The submitted 5 & 7 floors were the project's final floors and would house newspaper editing and production, and web media operations departments. With the newspaper industry decline, the goal was to create an office foundation for expanding into diverse media beyond just newspapers, and serve as a strong leader for the journalism industry as a whole. The project aimed to merge the culture of a traditional newspaper company with new media businesses, transforming both the design and operation plan of the outdated office.
