Office building
A renovation project that has transformed a forty-year-old private company building into an experimental site for the future where people can work and live creatively. KOKUYO designed "a future prototype of city offices," providing a public space open to the neighborhood where people can gather and connect—an important aspect in the new era of remote working. Various staircases and stages were inserted into the two old buildings to give people room to sit and relax. The organic design of the curved stairs and bridges create a visually pleasing contrast to the old solid building, a neighborhood landmark.
