The Cloud Mountain Type was inspired by Zhang Jiajie, the Chinese cloud-fog mountains and ancient Chinese landscape painting. The font combines the traditional Chinese clouds landscape with western characters. The Chinese saying “You cannot recognize the shape of a mountain when you stand on it” is also relevant here: when you stare at the details of the font, it is difficult to identify the letter itself, but from a distance it becomes clear.
