The Eclipse is inspired by wabi-sabi (侘寂), a Japanese philosophy and aesthetic code based on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. In terms of design, the essential features of wabi-sabi are imperfection, asymmetry, simplicity, and plainness. This approach to design invites people to reflect on the transience of life, ultimately helping them to find greater contentment and peace of mind.
