The Gathering Place is a private residence in Taichung, Taiwan, designed to accommodate both intimate family living and large social gatherings. Commissioned by a family with young children and a penchant for hosting, the design brief prioritized flexibility, functionality, and a subtle sense of luxury. The resulting space seamlessly blends diverse materials, unconventional spatial arrangements, and a dynamic lighting scheme to create a warm, inviting environment that effortlessly adapts to various needs and occasions.
