The website for The Guesthouse Vienna brings the distinct style of this design hotel into the digital realm. Large images were used to present the hotel and its surroundings. To ensure fast page loading times especially on mobile devices while always providing sharp images, the pictures were delivered in a variety of formats matching each device screen. One of the most characteristic design features, the turquois diamond element, was fully implemented in CSS3. Through CSS3 animation the site already appears dynamic and state-of-the-art already on first opening. By using a responsive design the layout adopts to the current screen size.
