Gathering Hall

The Practical Ethics Association

An assembly facility for those who live in a snowy mountain town. A V-shaped roof based on our snow analysis prevents accumulated snow from sliding off the roof while allowing the gathering space to command views of the mountains. This symbolic building with a 25 m long engawa (veranda) facing the river has an open ambience, sharing activities with the locals, aimed at developing the community.
