The life and noise: mindful listening education
Education program
La Vida y el Ruido is a citizen lab addressing noise impact and filling an educational gap in Colombia, lacking focus on listening and acoustic ecology. Endorsed by humanities experts, we've trained 300+ children in mindful listening. We seek funding to update Colombia's curriculum and aim to expand to schools in Medellín and eastern Antioquia. Our project is designed for scalability, with potential for nationwide and continental replication. Support can improve community well-being, life quality, and heighten ecological awareness.
A one of a kind project, which stands out for its creative, empathetic, holistic approach to cultivate active listening in communities through designing audio-oriented experiences. It immediately makes you curious and want to participate. The project has great scaling potential.
