The Oil Show

The exhibition The Oil Show presented artistic works which deal with our growing dependency on crude oil, its decreasing supply and the consequences. A tremendous effort is necessary to find alternative sources of energy. In analogy to this, the reader has to work on the catalogue himself: most of the pages are uncut and need to be unraveld to access otherwise hidden information. The printing on FSC certified, 100% waste paper, however, goes easy on real resources. The glossy varnish of the cover haptically and optically bears a direct reference to oil. Information graphics provide the reader with partially alarming facts about oil.
