The Pixel Lab, a Spectral Gallery

Design Movement on Campus

By adopting the design concepts of digital aesthetics, experimentation, and innovation, we built a new media art lab in the New Taipei City Banqiao Senior High School.We designed the overall space using the idea of pixel arrays; the ceiling using unique white cube lighting, and the left and right large windows using square frame lighting, creating a lab that is white in color. The overall space exemplifies the notion of spatial, multi-level art; and teachers can use the modular tables and chairs as well as display cabinets according to their needs, teaching students via the methods of classroom, exhibition, or performance.
