Public Spaces Redesign

Taiwan Design Research Institute

The recycling center, being an important public space on campus, has faced issues of inefficiency in its spatial design due to traditional approaches and thinking. This has resulted in low utilization of space, as well as the accumulation of clutter and dirt in idle areas, creating potential security blind spots. To address these concerns, a collaborative effort with the TDRI which call Design Movement On Campus, has led to a thorough transformation of the project. The school's needs were reevaluated, resulting in a revamp of the recycling center, signage system, and lighting, ensuring a more functional and aesthetically pleasing environment.
