The inspiration for the renovation of this old house is drawn from the New York Stock Exchange, integrating classical and modern European and American elements. The original ceilings were not high enough, so curved ceilings and mirrors were used to make them seem higher. The old building’s traditional beams and columns define the different functional areas, dividing while creating a sense of openness and privacy—allowing for flexible use of the space. Deep black tones and special paint create a quiet background for the furnishings, and titanium was used for a fashionable and luxurious texture.
