Each house hidden within an old block tells a story of its heyday, offers a glimpse into times and lifestyles past. We kept the tile roof and wooden beam construction but added a hue of white paint to brighten up the interior. Old wrought-iron windows and railings were kept and complemented by a wrought-iron bookshelf. The skylight was added not only to preserve memories but also let the sunshine in and bring different views of this space. The concept of the design was Chinese-style carved windows and the meaning of the phrase “weaving dreams”.
