"Tian and Kong," the name of this distilled spirit product from China, means the sky and emptiness. In Chinese writing, while “Tian Kong” by itself means sky, adding the word “and” changes the meaning entirely, adding a sense of romance and mystery. The bottle design is asymmetrical and streamlined. Several reverse hollows at the bottom resemble rolling hills. The semi-transparent image of a whale above the “hills” lends a dramatic element, as if a gigantic fish is soaring in the sky.
