TIG

Tech-toolkit for girls

TIG is a collaborative storytelling toolkit that invites young girls to explore the impact and the possibilities of technology in their everyday environment. It is designed to help girls to overcome their insecurity and instead develop a lasting enthusiasm for technology. By developing stories, that embed all kinds of sensors and actuators, girls can discover the impact and the possibilities of technology. By attaching the components to everyday objects they come alive and the girls can expand their imagination. TIG aims to help reduce the discrepancy in the number of women vs. men in STEM professions.
