TIO-Diving System

Diving System

Snorkeling and SCUBA are two types of diving. While both activities are growing in popularity, there are some distinct differences between the two. It has long been the wish of snorkelers and novice divers to eventually be able to breathe under water without training for a diving certificate or using heavy diving equipment. The TIO diving system combines the simplicity of snorkeling with the advantages of underwater breathing. It is the best of both worlds. Using this unique system, snorkelers have the opportunity to observe corals and fish, shoot underwater photos, go diving on kayak adventure tours or to simply enjoy diving.

JURY STATEMENT

This design provides the solution to observe more when snorkeling and lowers the treshold for 'real diving' , the small equipment is nicely designed.

WINNER STATEMENT

Winning the iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD among so many submitted projects was unexpected. When I received the message I was surprised and had to read it twice to realize that my work had been awarded. This award confirms me in what I did and am doing as a designer. Thank you!
