Sealmode instruments are used in open surgery. With the tip of the forceps you grasp blood vessels and seal them by a defined HF tension. A ratchet guarantees the clamp force. The disposable part is very small - only the top. Usually the whole instrument is disposable! The shape is orientated towards typical surgical forceps. The full plastic isolation is a safety precaution against electrical hazard. The red silicon prevents from slipping they also give a detailed tactile feedback from fingertip to the hand.
