Tom Dixon - The Multiplier Since 1997, "Architektur & Wohnen" has been honoring designers of international renown with the "A&W Designer of the Year" awards. The tribute includes an exclusive exhibition and a large photo report in the magazine. Briton Tom Dixon took home the trophy in 2008. The former creative director of the home furnishings chain Habitat wants to reach average households with his designs; hence the concept to stage his products in a street of typical London row houses.
