Advanced material

Samsung SDI Chemical Division Advanced Design Team

Various types of finishing techniques are applied in order to endow product surfaces with certain textures. This material, however, is a polymer material that presents the user with a whole new sensory experience by creating three types of textures: crunchy, supple, and crisp, with injection molding alone and without the application of a finishing process. The material saves finishing costs, and it is environmentally friendly since it does not emit pollutants from paintings.
