TPE-HUN Public Transportation Aesthetics Project

Public transportation project

Following the inauguration of the full 38.8 km length of the "Improved Suhua Highway" on January 6, 2020, three bus companies were authorized to operate buses on two new routes from Taipei to Hualien. To improve the public transport service experience, the Directorate General of Highways has collaborated with the Taiwan Design Research (TDRI) Institute in a groundbreaking highway transportation service improvement project incorporating design aesthetics. The "TPE-HUN Shuttle Bus" brand combines people, buses, and the highway, creating mobile scenery, giving bus travel an all-new look, and giving birth to "public transport aesthetics" in Taiwan.
