Traces of Time
Residential Interior Design
The 66 square meters residence in New Taipei City centers on the theme of “Traces of Time,” seeking to render the accumulation of years into design. The L-shaped wooden volume links entry, kitchen, and living, its interwoven wood, stone, and iron recalling dark tree rings and layered stone. It enhanced efficiency while accommodating diverse scenarios. The private area is finished in soft whites and mineral paints, pure like young rings or unweathered stone, awaiting life’s marks. The design not only addresses function but elevates time itself as an aesthetic theme, granting the home narrative depth and enduring resonance.
