Transforming Primary Healthcare in Kenya

SDG partnership platform

Philips

Universal Access to Healthcare is one of the Kenyan government’s priorities. To achieve this end, the UN-Kenya Sustainable Development Goals Partnership Platform initiated a program to transform primary healthcare as a crucial step towards the UN resolution on Universal Health Coverage. The program’s first round brought together stakeholders including the healthcare leadership of nine Kenyan counties, the Kenyan government, development partners, civil organizations and the private sector to find relevant scalable collaboration opportunities. Philips Design was asked to create a design-led process to facilitate this collaboration.
